Last week, months and months after the United States release, the Roku 3 finally hit store shelves up here in Canada!
I purchased mine back in June during a trip to the good ol’ US of A, and I haven’t been disappointed. Netflix is great, Hulu is painless to setup, and there are a wide variety of other channels I use on a regular basis, including UFC.tv. If you consume primarily streaming content from services like the aforementioned ones, you’ll want a Roku. If you have an older Roku and you’re thinking about upgrading, the Roku 3 is worthy of your $110 Canadian, which is the price tag it carries up here in the Great White North. While I haven’t done a full review of the unit just yet, maybe the Canadian release of the device will be the kick in the pants I need to get on that. Look for my review soon. In the meantime, head to Amazon.ca to order yours.
